Getting an apple orchard ready for harvest that feeds people for free
I recently went on a trip to Salida, CO to spend a couple of weeks. While there, I noticed that the land, as in much of the world, is not developed using principles within the “Eating Free Food” book. Much of the land in that region is fairly barren.
If I had land in that region of the United States, I would grow apples, pears, peaches, plums, kiwi, chestnut, hazelnut and a whole variety of food on my land.
Right now, I would be anticipating a wonderful apple harvest, at the very least.
